TESTIMONIALS

A number of Wellbeing Instruments’ partner schools have integrated their outdoor musical instruments into universal wellbeing strategies and also behaviour support plans with great success! We’re so grateful for the feedback we’ve received and have dedicated this space to sharing some of their success stories.  We’d like to give a huge thank you to Ben Whimpey of Indimax Productions for doing an amazing job of filming our case studies.

We’re also very proud to be showcased in the Canberra Times where we highlighted the links between educational philosophies, wellbeing and disability inclusion. You can read the article here.

Case Studies

Case Study- St Andrews PS

A huge thank you to the St Andrews Primary School staff and students for so enthusiastically taking part in our case study. We investigated their motivation for investing in our EXPLORER outdoor musical instrument and looked at how the  instrument, being integrated into their universal wellbeing strategies, has positively impacted student social engagement. We also had the great opportunity to hear some amazing feedback from the students themselves and also Principal Hayley Styles.

“I would absolutely recommend Wellbeing Instruments to other schools and I cannot wait for more additions for our school!”

Hayley Styles – Principal, St Andrews Primary School

“The children loved the instrument, and it made for a wonderful addition to our playground. It was used both in general play at recess and lunch, and with specific children who needed a mindful activity to aid with regulation. Would improve any playground space.”

Keith McNeill – Principal, Abbotford PS

“It has been fantastic to observe the engagement of a large number of our students on the wellbeing instruments during our breaks and before school! The students always have a smile on their face while using them. Our Education Support staff regularly use the instruments to support students in regulating their emotions and when transitioning between different learning areas in the school. Thank you Tom for your fantastic ongoing support with the instruments!”

Matthew Dunstone- Assistant Principal, Panton Hill PS

“The wellbeing instruments are regularly used with a student I support when they are feeling the need to calm down or regulate during our brain breaks. They have been helpful to assist in the student’s transitions between learning spaces and specialist lessons. The student is able to play the songs they are learning in their keyboard lessons and gets confidence from sharing their knowledge. We are now starting to use the provided activities with the instruments. They have been a brilliant purchase 👏”
